We do our best to follow each child individually to determine their developmental needs and provide an appropriately prepared environment. In each classroom, and as children grow, they gain more responsibility within their school environment, however skills and responsibilities are introduced based on a child's readiness not their classroom or age. Additional responsibilities beyond those shown below are added in each classroom or individually as children become ready.
We encourage families to allow for the same responsibility in the home environment as we do at school. Please see our “Home Recommendations” article for recommendations on preparing a home environment that is cohesive with each developmentally appropriate classroom.
